Abstract
A printing system (1) includes a controller (5) controlling printing by a printing apparatus (2) and textile printing processing by a heat treatment apparatus (3). The controller includes a print data generation unit (511), a print control unit (512) printing information on a medium based on the print data, and a textile printing parameter setting unit (513) setting at least a heating temperature and a heating time of the medium in the processing. Each ink included in an ink set contains a sublimable dye as a color development component, and the dye contained in a magenta ink is a disperse red. The setting unit sets a heating temperature in the processing to a first temperature higher than a heating temperature and sets a heating time in the processing to a first time longer than a heating time when the dye contained in the magenta ink is a disperse red.
