Abstract

A mechanical system includes a plurality of wire harnesses (102, 104) each have a generally cylindrical outer periphery, and a protective outer coating (90) around at least one electrical wire (92). A clamp (106) includes at least two clamp halves (120, 122; 152) to form a cylindrical space for receiving and supporting each of the plurality of wire harnesses (102, 104). The clamp (106) has grommets (132) associated with each of the at least two clamp halves (120, 122). The grommets (132) are formed of a non-metallic material. The at least two clamp halves (120,122; 152) are secured together, and are secured to a static surface (110). There is an alignment feature (129, 130; 154, 160) to align the at least two clamp halves (120, 122; 152) relative to each other. A gas turbine engine (20) is also disclosed.
