Abstract
A sample mounting and coverslipping method includes a step of preparing a slide and a coverslip, the slide having a sample attached thereon (step S11), a step of degassing a mounting medium to generate a degassed mounting medium (step S12), a step of applying the degassed mounting medium to the slide or the coverslip (step S13), and a step of mounting and coverslipping the sample by overlaying the coverslip on the slide via the degassed mounting medium (step S14). With this method, it is possible to reduce air bubbles between the slide and the coverslip.
