Abstract

Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for optimizing a logical quantum circuit. The apparatus moves Pauli operations just before a final logical measurement operation within a logical quantum circuit by performing a Pauli frame, generates an optimization block on a block basis by separating logical operations within the logical quantum circuit into sections, rearranges the order of logical operations within the optimization block, merges consecutive logical operations, among the rearranged logical operations, and sets consecutive logical operations within the logical quantum circuit to be performed in parallel.
