Abstract
Disclosed herein is a method that comprises: receiving (200) three-dimensional tomographic liver images (122), calculating (202) a first feature vector (128) by inputting the individual images (124) into a three-dimensional feature extractor (126), generating (204) at least one two-dimensional projection (130, 132, 134), calculating (206) at least one second feature vector (138, 140, 142) by inputting the projections into a two-dimensional feature extractor, creating (208) a combined feature vector (144); and receiving (210) an arterial phase image score (148), a portal venous phase image score (150), and a delay phase image score (152) by inputting the combined feature vector into a classifier module (146). The method further comprises: providing (212) an arterial phase image (156) using the arterial phase image score, providing (214) a portal venous phase image (158) using the portal phase image score, and providing (216) a delay phase image (160) using the delay phase image score.
