Abstract

A solid-state transformer (1) is specified, comprising - at least two modules (2) having a first side (3) and a second side (4), wherein each module (2) comprises - at least two sub-modules (22), each comprising a first converter (5) at the first side (3) and a second converter (6) at the second side (4), wherein - the first converter (5) is connected to the second converter (6) by a transformer, and - the at least two sub-modules (22) are connected in parallel at the first side (3), and wherein - the at least two modules (2) are connected in series at the first side (3). Furthermore, a system is specified.
