Abstract
A hearing aid comprising a non-volatile random-access memory, a random-access memory, RAM, and a processor. The processor being configured to initialize the RAM with one or more hearing aid parameters from the NVRAM, update the one or more hearing aid parameters of the RAM during a first operating mode of the hearing aid, and write the updated one or more hearing aid parameters of the RAM to the NVRAM if a condition is met.
