Abstract

Provided is a medical imaging apparatus (1) having a body movement process function, which can set a threshold value for determining a body movement in consideration of a body movement situation that varies depending on a subject or an examination part of the subject, and thereby effectively reduce an influence of the body movement on the subject in a medical image. A medical imaging apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention comprises a unit that sets a threshold value for determining a body movement for each subject. An optically captured image of a subject acquired by an optical imaging device different from a medical imaging apparatus is used not only for detecting a body movement of the subject but also for determining a threshold value for determining the body movement, and the threshold value is used to determine the body movement.
