Abstract

The invention discloses support device (2) for a exoskeleton system (1) comprising a wheeled frame (21), a displaceable connector (22) for connection to a lumbar portion (31) of the exoskeleton (3), and a powered mechanism for moving said displaceable connector (22) between an upper position and a lower position. The support device (2) further comprises a foldable seat (23) connected to the wheeled frame (21) and a synchronization assembly (24) configured for folding/unfolding said seat (23). The support device (2) is advantageous in that the seat (23) is configured for moving up and down together with the displaceable connector (22) and the synchronization assembly (24) is configured for selecting a desired height of folding/unfolding of the seat (23). The invention further discloses an exoskeleton system (1) comprising a support device (2) and an exoskeleton (3), and a method for operating said exoskeleton system (1).
