Abstract

An injection molding apparatus (1) capable of reducing a temperature difference in a circumferential direction of a cylindrical portion of a preform (610) is provided. The injection molding apparatus (1) includes a female mold portion (12) that is columnar and has a recessed portion (122) formed therein; and a peripheral member (13) that is provided around the female mold portion (12) to cover at least a part of an outer peripheral surface (120) of the female mold portion (12). A hole (142) extending in a direction intersecting a center line direction of the female mold portion (12) is formed in the peripheral member (13), a groove (126) recessed from the outer peripheral surface (120) is formed over an entire periphery of the female mold portion (12) at a position outside the recessed portion (122) and facing the hole (142), and a flow path through which a medium for cooling the recessed portion (122) flows is formed by the hole (142) of the peripheral member (13) and the groove (126) of the female mold portion (12).
