Abstract
The present invention relates to a polypropylene composition comprising more than 80.0 to less than 100.0 wt.-% based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition of a high isotactic homopolymer of propylene (A), and more than 0.0 to less than 20.0 wt.-% based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition of a polybutylene terephthalate (B). The composition allows the achievement of electrical conductivities which are desirable for high temperature capacitor film applications. The present invention is also directed to a film comprising the polypropylene composition as well as the use of the polypropylene composition to prepare a capacitor film. Furthermore, the invention relates to a biaxially oriented film comprising the polypropylene composition as well as a method for preparing a biaxially oriented film comprising the polypropylene composition. Additionally, a capacitor comprising the biaxially oriented film is provided.
