Abstract

A vehicle control system according to the present disclosure is a vehicle control system configured to cause a vehicle (100) to travel by itself to a drum tester (400) and control an operation of the vehicle (100) on the drum tester (400). The vehicle control system includes detection means (310) for detecting arrival of a target vehicle (100) at the drum tester (400) and a controller (200) configured to cause the target vehicle (100) to travel by itself to the drum tester (400) and control an operation of the target vehicle (100) on the drum tester (400). When the arrival of the target vehicle (100) at the drum tester (400) is detected by the detection means (310), the controller (200) switches a control mode for the target vehicle (100) from a traveling control mode to a test control mode for controlling the operation of the target vehicle (100) on the drum tester (400).
