Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method of preparing a system (10), the system (10) including a first device (12) and a second device (14), the second device (14) being configured to act as a backup device to the first device (12), the first device (12) and the second device (14) having a service-oriented architecture, SOA. The method includes: copying a configuration of the first device (12), the configuration including at least one service of the first device (12); applying at least a portion of the copied configuration of the first device (12) to the second device (14); communicatively connecting the first device (12) and the second device (14); sending data from the first device (12) to the second device (14) to at least partially synchronize the second device (14) with the first device (12). The present disclosure also relates to a method of operating a system (10), an apparatus (30) for synchronizing a first device (12) and a second device (14), and a system (10).
