Abstract

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of batteries, and in particular to a negative electrode active material, and a negative electrode plate and a battery comprising the negative electrode active material. The negative electrode active material comprises silicon-carbon composite particles; the silicon-carbon composite particles have closed pores, and the volume fraction of the closed pores is 4%-50%; the silicon-carbon composite particles have a core-shell structure with a shell thickness of t, where 0 < t ≤ 10 nm; the silicon-carbon composite particles have a first region and a second region on cross section, the content of silicon element in the first region is c1, the content of silicon element in the second region is c2, and 0.15 ≤ c2/c1 ≤ 1.4; where the dimension of the perpendicular line to the tangent line at any point on the edge of the cross section is L on the cross section, and on the perpendicular line, a region 0.001L-0.1L away from the edge of the cross section constitutes the first region, and a region 0.1L-0.5L away from the edge of the cross section constitutes the second region.
