Abstract

A power supply device (100) includes a power supplier (160) to supply power to a power reception device (200) and a temperature detector (140) to detect temperature of a predetermined part. The power supply device (100) includes a controller (170) to control power supply by the power supplier (160) to the power reception device (200) based on reference temperature and detection temperature detected by the temperature detector (140). In a case where, at start of power supply, a first specified time has elapsed since end of a previous power supply and a rate of change in the detection temperature during a specified period immediately before the start of power supply is within a reference value, the controller (170) updates the reference temperature to the detection temperature that is at the start of power supply.
