Abstract

A display panel (10) includes a substrate (100) having an opening (100OP), an inorganic insulation structure (IL) on the substrate (100), light-emitting diodes (LED) defining a display area (DA) extending around the opening (100OP), an encapsulation layer (300) on the light-emitting diodes (LED), a trench (TCH) in the inorganic insulation structure (IL) in a non-display area (PA) between the opening (100OP) in the substrate (100) and the display area (DA), an insulating layer (1100) on one edge portion of the trench (TCH) and having a groove (G) defined therein, and first and second metal layers (1200) spaced apart from each other on the insulating layer (1100). The first and second metal layers (1200) respectively have first and second overhang portions (P) extending toward the groove (G), at least one of the light-emitting diodes (LED) includes a pixel electrode (221), an opposite electrode (223) on the pixel electrode (221), and an intermediate layer (222), and an organic layer (222b) of the intermediate layer (222) is separated into a plurality of portions by the first and second overhang portions (P).
