Abstract

This aerosol generating device comprises: a chamber configured to hold an aerosol generating material; a heater configured to heat the aerosol generating material, the heater including a substrate which includes a first end portion, a second end portion opposite to the first end portion, and a side portion extending between the first end portion and the second end portion, and a plurality of metal particles disposed on the inner surface and configured to generate heat by surface plasmon resonance, wherein the substrate includes an outer surface at least partially facing the chamber and an inner surface opposite to the outer surface; and a wick configured to deliver the aerosol generating material from the chamber to the heater.
