Abstract
System (FCS) and related method for X-ray imaging. The system comprises an input interface (IN) through which is receivable detector data detectable by an X-ray detector (XD) of an X-ray imaging apparatus (IA) upon irradiation by X-radiation from a focal spot (FS) of the imaging apparatus (IA)'s X-ray source (XR). A binner (BN) bins the detector data into binned detector data. The said binning by binner (BN) is based on a manner in which a spatial extent of a projection on the detector (XD) of the focal spot (FS) is changeable along at least one spatial direction X,Z.
