Abstract

A biostimulator (100) includes a housing (202) having a longitudinal axis (204) and containing an electronics compartment (206). The biostimulator (100) includes a fixation element mount (402) coupled to the housing (202) and a helical fixation element (106, 602) coupled to the housing (202). The helical fixation element (106, 602) has several turns and extends about the longitudinal axis (204). The helical fixation element (106, 602) has a proximal turn (910) encased by a wall of the fixation element mount (402).
