Abstract

A reactor (1) for heterogeneous catalysis processes in which a containment shell (10) is delimited internally by an elongated cavity (11); provided with an operating station (12) arranged in an intermediate position internally delimited by an air space (14) peripherally delimited by a first wall (140) having geometric shape similar to that of the cavity (11); at least one monolithic body (19) contained inside said air space (14), electrically conductive in order to be electrically heatable by Joule effect so as to trigger and effectively control a chemical transformation reaction of the mixture; each monolithic body (19) being delimited peripherally by a second wall (190); the second wall (190) being shaped in a geometrically conjugate manner with the first wall (140).
