Abstract

Provided is a control device for a slitter device provided with a plurality of slitter heads (13) having slitter knives (15) and a plurality of moving devices (24) for moving the slitter heads (13) along an axis, the slitter device cutting a corrugated cardboard web traveling on a travel line along a travel direction using some or all of the plurality of slitter heads (13), wherein the control device comprises: a wear state estimation device (52) for estimating the wear state of each of the slitter knives (15) of the plurality of slitter heads (13); and a movement control device (53) for automatically selecting, on the basis of the estimated wear state of the slitter knives (15), a slitter head (13) for which the slitter knife (15) is less worn from among the plurality of slitter heads (13), and automatically moving the selected slitter head (13) to a cutting position, when a new order is a partial use order to cut the corrugated cardboard web (W) using some of the plurality of slitter heads.
