Abstract

Provided is a fiber-resin composite including a unidirectional fiber aggregate of liquid crystal polyester fibers and a matrix resin. The fiber-resin composite includes: a liquid crystal polyester fiber-containing layer containing a unidirectional fiber aggregate of liquid crystal polyester fibers and a matrix resin; and a reinforcing fiber-containing layer containing reinforcing fibers and a matrix resin. The matrix resin in the liquid crystal polyester fiber-containing layer is a hard resin. A single filament fineness of the liquid crystal polyester fibers in the liquid crystal polyester fiber-containing layer is 2.5 dtex or more. The liquid crystal polyester fibers in the liquid crystal polyester fiber-containing layer have a cover factor of 91% or more. A coefficient of variation of thickness of the liquid crystal polyester fibers in the liquid crystal polyester fiber-containing layer is 0.33 or less.
