Abstract

A printing apparatus includes first and second storage portions (4A,4B) configured to store first and second containers (60) that store a liquid to be supplied to a printhead (11), a first intermediate tank (220) configured to, between the printhead and the first container, store the liquid to be supplied from the first container to the printhead, and a second intermediate tank (220) configured to, between the printhead and the second container, store the liquid to be supplied from the second container to the printhead The first and second storage portions (4A,4B) are arranged in a height direction of the printing apparatus.
