Abstract

Provided is a control method for a vehicle capable of suppressing reversing moment around a kingpin in a non-ground contact state of a tire and reducing vehicle vibration in a vehicle of an in-wheel motor type. The control method for a vehicle including an in-wheel motor in a wheel includes: a ground contact state-determining step of determining whether or not the wheel is in a non-ground contact state; and a torque controlling step of performing torque control on the in-wheel motor when it is determined in the ground contact state-determining step that the wheel is not in contact with the ground.
