Abstract

A driving assistance device (1) includes: a captured image acquisition unit (10) configured to acquire a captured image obtained by capturing an image of surroundings of a host vehicle; an assistance image generation unit (10) configured to generate an assistance image (65) in which a wheel image (55) indicating a wheel is superimposed on the captured image in a region where a wheel of the host vehicle is located; and an image display unit (10) configured to display the assistance image on a display device (4). The wheel image is set to have a higher transmittance in an upper part away from a road surface than in a lower part close to the road surface.
