Abstract

The present invention relates to an oriented polyester film and a manufacturing method therefor. The oriented polyester film comprises a polyester resin in which a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component are polymerized. when analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) after first heat treatment and a second heat treatment, the oriented polyester film exhibits a first melting temperature (Tm<1>) and a second melting temperature (Tm<2>), and shows not less than 0.1 in the ratio (H<2>/H<1>) of a second heat of fusion (H<2>) at the second melting temperature (Tm<2>) to a first heat of fusion (H<1>) at the first melting temperature (Tm<1>). The oriented polyester film according to the present invention can be usefully utilized as a heat shrinkable film applied as a label and/or packaging of a plastic container, and in particular, has very excellent crystallinity, thereby increasing recycling process efficiency of a waste plastic container.
