Abstract

In a system for removing impurities, including fats, greases and petroleum substances, from metal elements, having a set of devices formed in the form of a production line (2) and including a dosage device (20) for transporting impure metal elements (15), and a shredding device (30), in the production line (2) for removing fats and/or greases and/or petroleum substances and other impurities from impure metal elements (15), downstream the shredding device (30), there is a mixing device (60) with a tank (61) moving at least rotationally in relation to its own longitudinal axis (66), preceded in the production line (2) by a dosage-powdering device (20) transporting a degreasing material (45), and a dosage-transporting device (50) transporting a wiping material (55). Furthermore, in the production line for removing fats, greases and petroleum substances from metal elements, downstream the mixing device (60), there is a separating device for separating purified metal elements (75) from a mixture (77) containing degreasing material and wiping material with fats and/or greases and/or petroleum substances.
