Abstract

The invention concerns a trimming device (300) for trimming a prefabricated round root component (200) for a wind turbine rotor blade (110), comprising - a support structure (302), - a table (308), the table (308) being - rotatably supported on the support structure (302), and - configured to support the prefabricated round root component (200), - a trimming tool (320), the trimming tool (320) being fixed to the support structure (302) and being configured to trim the round root component (200) along its periphery (204) when the round root component (200) is supported on the table (308), in particular to remove excess material.
