Abstract

A combustion liner v-band includes a louver segment (44) having an arcuate member (52), an array of scoops (54), and outlet openings (56). The arcuate member (52) includes an interior wall (60) and side walls (62) extending partially circumferentially about a centerline axis (C) of the combustor (28) to bound a channel (58) that is open at a radial outer boundary of the arcuate member (52). The scoops (54) extend from the interior wall (60). The outlet openings (56) extend through the interior wall (60) and the scoops (54) to place the channel (58) in fluid communication with a region exterior to the louver segment (44). Each outlet opening (56) extends along a discharge axis (A) that has a nonzero axial angle component (α) and a nonzero circumferential angle component (β).
