Abstract
The present invention provides: an eluent which is passed, in an analysis of a hemoglobin mixture using cation exchange chromatography, when separating/analyzing at least one of hemoglobin A2 or abnormal hemoglobin E, D, S, or C from hemoglobin A0, and which comprises at least one acid selected from among hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and carboxylic acids which are kosmotropic salts in the Hofmeister series or salts having a structure similar to thereto; and a method using the eluent.
