Abstract

A method for estimating a cause for coagulation disorder in a blood specimen, the method comprising: calculating D(i), which is a deviation curve for a subject blood specimen; calculating a parameter reflecting a shape of D(i); and estimating a cause for coagulation disorder in the subject blood specimen on a basis of the parameter, wherein D(i) - P(i) - Pn(i), wherein i denotes measuring point number, or time, P(i) is a curve given by relativizing measurement data for coagulation reaction in the subject blood specimen to give a minimum value of 0 and a maximum value of A, Pn(i) is a curve given by shifting P'(i) to match a rising point thereof with a specific point X, wherein the P'(i) is a curve given by relativizing measurement data for coagulation reaction in a reference specimen to give a minimum value of 0 and a maximum value of A, A > 0, and X is from 5 to 15 seconds, or measuring point number corresponding thereto.
