Abstract

A lens unit (30) includes: a first meta-lens (31) that has a first entering surface (31a) through which light enters, and a first emission surface (31b) through which the light that has entered the first entering surface (31a) is emitted, and includes a plurality of first nanostructures (311) provided on the side of the first emission surface (31b), the first nanostructures (311) being configured to modulate the phase of the light; and a second meta-lens (32) that has a second entering surface (32a) that faces the first emission surface (31b) and through which the light emitted from the first emission surface (31b) enters, and a second emission surface (32b) through which the light that has entered the second entering surface (32a) is emitted, and includes a plurality of second nanostructures (321) provided on the side of the second entering surface (32a), the second nanostructures (321) being configured to modulate the phase of the light.
