Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of hard drive backplanes, and discloses a hard-disk drive backplane module and a server, wherein the hard drive backplane module includes a first hard drive backplane; the first hard drive backplane comprising: a first gold finger, a RAID controller IC, a first connector and at least one first hard drive interface; wherein, the first gold finger is configured to connect a first signal connector of a mainboard; part of pins of the first gold finger are connected to the first hard drive interface and configured to transmit a first data signal to the first hard drive interface; the RAID controller IC is connected to another part of the pins of the first gold finger and configured to perform a conversion between a data signal of the first gold finger and second data signals, and perform a conversion between a data signal of the first gold finger and third data signals; the RAID controller IC is configured to transmit the second data signals to the first hard drive interface and to transmit the third data signal to the first connector; the first connector is configured to transmit the third data signals to other hard drive backplanes. The present application could support different types of hard drives, and could support a large number of hard drives, which could meet the storage requirements of the server.
