Abstract
An electronic control device includes: a diagnosis unit 10 configured to output an execution command for abnormality diagnosis of an ECU; a target ECU 40 to be diagnosed in response to the execution command; and a relay unit 30 configured to relay communication among ECUs. The relay unit 30 transmits data received via OTA communication to the target ECU 40. The diagnosis unit 10 withholds output of the execution command while the relay unit 30 and the target ECU 40 perform data communication for transmitting and receiving data between the relay unit 30 and the target ECU 40.
