Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method, system, and forming device 10 for optimizing and executing forming sequences 30 in forming processes using a deep neural network 20 and an optimization algorithm 21. The method involves training the neural network 20 with input device data 221, such as a shape of a tool 101 of the forming device 10, deformation force, speed, and displacement, and input workpiece data 222 to predict output data 23 like a shape of a workpiece 105. The forming device 10 includes besides the tool 101 with upper 1012 and lower dies 1011, a drive mechanism 103, and a controller 106 configured to execute the forming sequences 30 determined by the neural network 20 and optimization algorithm 21.
