Abstract
A scintillator includes a support substrate; and an emission layer that is formed of ZnO, is disposed on the support substrate, and emits light in response to an incidence of charged particles or photons. The emission layer includes a plurality of first layers having a first impurity concentration, and a plurality of second layers alternately stacked with the plurality of first layers and having a second impurity concentration lower than the first impurity concentration.
