Abstract

An electrical outlet (1), comprising- A body comprisingo an electrical switch, and/oro a receptacle (2) for receiving a plug from an electrical consumer,and further comprising at least one input port (3) for connecting the electrical outlet (1) to an electrical mains of an electrical installation, wherein the at least one input port (3) is configured to mate with a corresponding connector (4a, 4b) that supplies power from said electrical mains, wherein the at least one input port (3) is arranged on the body.A cable (5) for supplying power from the electrical mains of an electrical installation to the electrical outlet (1) of any one of claims 1 to 14, comprising one end that is connectable to the electrical mains and one end with a connector (4a) corresponding to the at least one input port (3) of the electrical outlet (1).
