Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling an electrolyzing plant (10) having an electrolyzing device (14), wherein the electrolyzing plant is supplied with electric energy from an electric power network (12) via a circuit breaker (16), wherein the switching status is controlled by a status signal (28) of a control station (18), wherein the electrolyzing plant has an electric converter connected with the electrolyzing device and the circuit breaker (16), wherein the converter converts the alternating voltage into a DC electrolyzing voltage and adjusts a converted power dependent on a control signal (22) of the control station, wherein the electrolyzing plant receives a disconnection signal (24) from a control center (26) of the electric power network, wherein the disconnection signal is submitted directly to the electric converter in order to cause the electric converter reducing the converted power of the electric converter independent from the control signal.
