Abstract
A computer system comprising processing circuitry is provided. It is being arranged in a vehicle (10) having a linear machine (100) comprising an actuator (105) having a plurality of permanent magnets (106a, 106b, 106c) and at least one stator (108) comprising at least a first stator coil (109a) and second stator coil (109b). The processing circuitry (700) is configured to control the behavior of at least the first stator coil (109a) so that it is configured to act as an electromagnet creating an electromagnetic field, and control the behavior of at least the second stator coil (109b) so that it is configured to act as a generator, and thereby generating energy to an energy storage system (130).
