Abstract

A communication apparatus, comprising a transceiver which, in operation, receives a channel state information, CSI, report configuration indicating a CSI resource list including an ondemand synchronization signal block, OD-SSB, and monitors CSI resources included in the CSI resource list; and circuitry which, in operation, derives at least one CSI report quantity from received CSI resources, and performs CSI reporting according to the CSI report configuration, wherein the circuitry, in operation, determines whether or not the OD-SSB is available and performs at least one of the following operations, when it is determined that the OD-SSB is not available: (i) suspending the CSI reporting as long as the OD-SSB is not available, (ii) deactivating the CSI reporting, (iii) performing an error operation, (iv) performing CSI reporting, wherein respective CSI reports include CSI report quantities derived only from CSI resources other than the OD-SSB, and (v) performing CSI reporting, wherein portions of respective CSI reports dedicated for reporting a CSI report quantity derived from the OD-SSB include data other than said CSI report quantity.
