Abstract
Provided are an image projection device and an image projection method capable of suppressing variation in an image formation position of an image due to pitching of a vehicle and improving the visibility of the image. An image projection device (100) for projecting a virtual image via a display unit includes an image emission unit (140) that emits an image for forming the virtual image as image display light, an acceleration acquisition unit (110) that acquires an acceleration applied to a vehicle, a vehicle information acquisition unit (120) that acquires driving state information on the vehicle, and an image position correction unit (130) that corrects a display position of the image based on the acceleration and the driving state information.
