Abstract

Provided are an information transmission method and apparatus, belonging to the technical field of communications. The method according to an embodiment of this disclosure embodiment includes: transmitting, by a first network device, packet loss information of at least one packet data unit set (PDU set) in a quality of service (QoS) flow to a second network device, where the first network device is a source base station or a first distributed unit (DU); in a case where the first network device is the source base station, the second network device is a target base station; or in a case where the first network device is the first distributed unit (DU), the second network device is a first centralized unit (CU) connected to the first DU.
