Abstract

Provided are a wireless communication method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method comprises: a terminal device uses a first communication module to receive a first paging message sent by a network device, the first paging message being used for determining whether to wake up a second communication module in the terminal device; the communication capability of the first communication module is different from that of the second communication module. That is, the introduction of the first paging message allows the terminal device to determine which communication module to use to communicate with the network device, which is beneficial in increasing the possibility of communication between different communication modules in the terminal device and the network device, thereby preventing waste.
