Abstract
Disclosed are a method and device for transmission or reception based on a distributed resource unit tone plan in a wireless LAN system. A method performed by a first station (STA) in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises the steps of: generating a PPDU including one or more fields mapped to multiple DRUs composed of N (N>1) DRUs; and transmitting the PPDU to one or more second STAs on M (M>1) channels excluding channels of a specific size in a bandwidth on the basis of the application of preamble puncturing to the channels of the specific size. Here, each of the N DRUs includes a plurality of subcarriers distributed in the frequency domain, and the N DRUs can be allocated one by one to N channels among the M channels.
