Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a crampon (100) configured to be coupled to a ski boot (200). In particular, the crampon (100) comprises a coupling device (21), which comprises a pivot (22) and is configured to be coupled to the heel of the ski boot (200), and the crampon (100) further comprises an engagement device (11) pivotable around said pivot (22) between an operative position, in which the engagement device (11) can engage the ground, and a raised position, in which the engagement device (11) is raised from the ground.The present disclosure also relates to a method for operating a crampon (100).
