Abstract

An adsorber cartridge (24; 72) comprises an annular sleeve comprising an inner wall (28), an outer wall (30), a first end cap (34), and a second end cap (36), the first end cap (34) comprising an opening (52). The adsorber cartridge (24; 72) further comprises adsorbent material (40) contained in the annular sleeve, a movable compression plate (38; 84) arranged within the annular sleeve and between the first end cap (34) and the adsorbent material (40), and at least one actuation element (54; 82) arranged in the opening (52) and configured to bias the movable compression plate (38; 84) against the adsorbent material (40).
