Abstract

Embodiments of the present application provide an extrusion mold for fabricating an aerosol-generating article. The extrusion mold comprises a first form cavity and a plurality of first forming columns. The first form cavity is provided with a first side wall, the first side wall is provided with at least one extrusion gap, and the extrusion gap comprises a first extrusion gap. The plurality of first forming columns are arranged on the first side wall at intervals in the circumferential direction of the first form cavity, and each of the first forming columns protrudes towards the interior of the first form cavity, such that a first extrusion gap is defined between each two adjacent first forming columns. At least one protruding structure may be formed on a peripheral side of an aerosol-generating medium extruded by the extrusion mold of the embodiments of the present application, and the protruding structure may enable a space for releasing an aerosol on the peripheral side of the aerosol generating medium to be increased; therefore, the release path of the aerosol may be unimpeded, rapid release of the aerosol is facilitated, and the extraction efficiency of the aerosol may be further improved.
