Abstract

The invention relates to an adhesive application device (50) for a turn-up system of a reeler of a fiber web production line, which comprises a melter (40) and an adhesive applicator (20), which adhesive applicator (20) comprises nozzles (31), in which adhesive application device (50) the melter (40) is connected to the adhesive applicator (20) via a feed channel (42) for providing adhesive to the nozzles (31) of the adhesive applicator (20). The melter (40) is a hotmelt adhesive melter (40). The adhesive applicator (20) is a high pressure hotmelt adhesive applicator (20) comprising an applicator head (21), a high-pressure pump unit (22), a linear actuator (23) and a linear actuator mover (24), and the high-pressure pump unit (22) is driven by the linear actuator (23) and the linear actuator mover (24).
