Abstract

The present invention a tile unit (1) for a tile system (100), such as a suspended tile system. The tile unit (1) comprises: a polygon-shaped tile (2); and an edge profile (3); wherein the polygon-shaped tile (2) comprises a first major surface (4) intended to face a room, an opposing second major surface (5), and side edges (2a-d) connecting the first major surface (4) and the second major surface (5); and wherein the edge profile (3) comprises: an elongated structure (6), wherein in an assembled state of the suspended tile system (100): the elongated structure (6) is configured to at least partially fill a gap between the polygon-shaped tile (2) and a neighboring polygon-shaped tile (2), and a surface portion (6a) of the elongated structure (6) extending along a longitudinal axis thereof is intended to face said room. Wherein the edge profile (3) further comprises and an anchor (7) projecting from said elongated structure (6) and insertable into the polygon-shaped tile (2) from one side edge (2a-d) of said side edges (2a-d) such that the elongated structure (6) is arranged along said one side edge (2a-d).
