Abstract

An installation frame (2) for at least one roof window installed in a roof structure (1) comprises a plurality of installation frame members (21,22,23), a plurality of frame connector brackets (24), and an underroof collar (4). Each installation frame member (21,22,23) comprises at least one structural part (212,232) and at least some of the installation frame members comprise an insulating part (211,231). The underroof collar (4) comprises two or more separate collar parts (41,42,43), each collar part being attached to at least one structural part of at least one installation frame member. Each collar part is arranged separately so that an outer skirt part (402,424,434) is in engagement with the roof structure. A roof window installed in a roof structure with such an installation frame and method for installing an installation frame at at least one roof window installed in a roof structure are also disclosed.
